maisonLAPALUS syrah 2017 : Grown in Guilford( Macedon GI) from 22 years old vines on very rocky(shist) soil, the syrah grapes were picked in early April. 60% wholebunch fermentation  with low intervention, the grapes were pressed after 18 days on skin . The wine finished fermentation in french oak barrel, and was matured in the same barrels for 12 months. Bottling in April with a small addition of sulfur (20ppm) . 13.0 % alc./vol.
